Cockroaches

The two most common species of cockroaches in the U.K. are German and Oriental cockroaches. German cockroaches (Blattella germanica), being small and adaptable, infest kitchens and bathrooms posing health risks by spreading pathogens and allergens. Their rapid reproduction makes them a serious problem. On the other hand, Oriental cockroaches (Blatta orientalis) favour dark and damp areas like basements. They are notorious for their strong unpleasant odour and are associated with unsanitary conditions.
